Reimagination of CVS pharmacy through a project known as a North Star.
The goal was to help CVS navigate the arrival of online pharmacy services such as PillPack or Blink. We wanted to prove to consumers that CVS can be simple, convenient and connected like these new platforms, but also offer a much wider breadth of products and services related to their overall health and well-being. A breadth that also spans across the spectrum of acute illnesses to chronic diseases, patients to caregivers.
The resulting designs were created across numerous touchpoints of a user’s pharmacy experience including some highlights like virtual tools for inputting medication information, dashboards, personalized pharmacist tips, wearable tracking, digital touchscreens at the pharmacist counter to help expedite wait times, AR experiences in-store to better locate items for a specific need or illness, in-store events and discussions about health, an Rx express pick up locker, and device trials. Throughout the thread of interacting with CVS we also wanted to push their expertise in the category of health, and allow them to help guide or coach each unique customers to their next best action based on their personalized health concerns.
