Redesign of the MINI site to create a highly personalized experience which remembered selections and developed recommendations for each return visit. MINI had always boasted over 10,000 configuration options, but overwhelming power of choice was a barrier to sales success.

Redesign of the MINI site to create a highly personalized experience which remembered selections and developed recommendations for each return visit. MINI had always boasted over 10,000 configuration options, but overwhelming power of choice was a barrier to sales success.
We developed two versions of a model page: one active, one passive. In the first, the goal was to allow the user to configure their car as they learned, with the page updating dynamically based on the selections they made from top to bottom. The second was a more visual approach, incorporating collages of premium products and partnerships with the MINI model photography.
We also developed a model card system for a mobile version of the site, with easier access to a “MINI Concierge” through a “How can we help you” introduction screen.
